My ex and why's is a story about a blogger whose name is Cali who owns a blog titled "The Bakit List". Her ex Gio surprisingly return after cheating he 2 years ago. With all her pent up anger and frustration from her failed relationship, Cali fuels her creativity by leading a hugot-filled blog called The Bakit List. But then, Gio finds out about Cali's blog, which prompts him to create his own blog, The Dahil List, to respond to her posts. Their exchanges catch the attention of, well, everyone online, which suddenly makes them internet famous—thus becoming a "social media love team." Cali and Gio's unresolved past turns out interesting when Gio repented and tries to prove to his ex-girlfriend Cali that he is a changed man.

At the start of the movie, Cali (Liza Soberano) posted an interesting question on her BakitList blog: "Bakit ba ang tao kahit alam naman na masasaktan eh hindi nagsasawang magmahal?". It was a universal thought that demanded a response and the movie's biggest failure was that it never really tried to expound on its answer of "Mas tanga ang hindi magmahal." Maybe Cali should have added another set of Whys on her list.
As the story goes by Cali's bitterness was shown, how bitter she was about what happened on her past relationship. We all know that it is really hard to move on. Cali (Liza Soberano) also shown that a simple sorry won't change what happened in the past. On her case if you will understand from where her bitterness is coming you would understand her. Cali have some trust issues from what her father did to her. If I were also in her case I would do the same.
As faith brings them back together we can all say that there is a right time for everything.
Gio (Enrique Gil) shows Cali that he change and would never cheat again. I can say that a man would really change for the woman they really love.
As the love team travels to Korea, Cali& Gio enjoys their company together. Their best friend Lee (Ryan Bang) pushes their love team to be the same as they were years ago.
And finally when they reach Nami Island Cali thinks of pursuing her long dream that is to be under a falling Golden yellow leaves of the ginkgo tree. But when she reach the place, the golden yellow leaves of the ginkgo tree were already on the ground. Cali even said "sayang mukang hindi na matutupad ang pangarap ko." But suddenly Gio gather the leaves and started showering her some so that her dreams would come true.
How sweet that was, yung tippong tinitiis ng taong yun yung ugali at kabitteran mo sa buhay. Malalaman mong tunay ka nga talagang mahal nung tao.
I can see that the hindrances on the movie were communication, Cali didn't let Gio explain what really happen. Well isama nadin natin yung maharot na babaeng umepal sa relasyon ni Gio at Cali. The movie ended so nice that they end up together. Cali's bakit list were answered with Gio's Dahil list. It is true that when you love the person you would forgive him/her and start to trust again.
The twist of the story is how destiny made its way for them to be together again. I would like to recommend it to all single, in a relationshit, in a relationship , all ages to watch it it is really a nice movie, there is Comedy, Bitterness, Pain, and love.
